After falling to Mercer on Friday morning, the Tennessee State men’s basketball team is set to compete against Southeast Louisiana in the consolation round of the day bracket at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning.

SERIES INFORMATION: This marks the 10th all-time meeting between TSU and Southeastern Louisiana. The inaugural encounter occurred during the 1972 NCAA D2 Regional in Hammond, Louisiana, with TSU securing a 62-57 victory. The most recent meeting was on Feb. 9, 1987, resulting in a 78-51 win for TSU.
MERCER BY THE NUMBERS:
18 — The largest deficit for TSU occurred when Mercer led 49-31 after a Jake Davis second-chance layup. Following that point, TSU outscored Mercer 28-11.
